Jasper series 1: Malign Canyon

My 2 wks break was over yesterday. i was greeted at airport by wihte snow when i stepped out the plane. While it was still almost 30 degree in last week in Toronto, the short summer has gone in arctic, and Cambridge Bay is putting its winter clothes now, the white-out day is fast approaching.
during my short vacation in south, i sepent 2 days in 3 national parks in Albert strenching more than 1500km.  rather than enjoying those scenic spots slowly, my friend and i just sweped them.
here are some beautiful landscape in Jasper National Park in Alberta.
From now, i would like to share those magnificent Moutain beauties with all my friend on space.the frist impressive scene when i entered the Jasper  is the Malign Canyon, which  formed by Swirling, churning water, and  it is said has more than 300 million years. it is only two metres across at some points, but to a depth of more than 50 metres.
1. Inspired by my friend Kuskulana Steve, this  ful view photo of Malign Canyon in Jasper is  stitched by 3 single shot in vertical way.

That is a wonderful top shot!
Inspiration is something precious, I am very happy you caught a bit from me, as I did from others.
Such a short summer you have compared to me, and such a wonderful and amazing place you life in.
Thank you for sharing this my friend, one day I wish to meet you in person.

Nice work,  can’t even see the joins (chuckle).   It’s a pity that given the horizontal format of our computer screens we can’t appreciate the full image in one view without scrolling down.  That’s not a reflection on the image, which is fine.  For others viewing this,  try using the F11 key on your computer keyboard,  this will hide your web browser status bars and get you a little bit more screen real estate!  (at least it works on my windows PC,  not sure about you mac users)    Also I think you could get quite a nice print from this,  put it on your wall as a vertical "banner" or maybe print it up with a couple of other images in the same vertical format as a triptych.  Plenty of possibilities!
    regards KD.
