Thanks for stopping by my friend, i saw blue jay photos by others, but i did not shoot by my self even i saw a few in my neighborhood.

Indeed you have seen some beautiful sights this summer. Quite a change from just the artic. Even though in your photos here there is still colors that light up the camera. I too visited Niagara on the lake. That town has some of the most beautiful flowers. Your arrear of birds are just beautiful. Looks like you have had a wonderful summer with your tours of Canada. Summer has finally arrived with some heat at our place. I was wondering if it would ever show up. Hope you are still enjoying yours. Hugs Carrie
Carrie, the weather here is still pretty nice,even better though it is bit cooler down. It is said there are too many bugs and mosquitoes, the worst year in past decades. yes, traveled to some of small towns in Ontario with family in this summer. it was hot but enjoyed it. it is said this would be hot summer based on Chinese Zodiac, and hope hot summer come into mountains and heat up your ranch.

MJ, there are so many species of sea birds here in arctic, lots professional photographer visit arctic every year just for those magnificent birds. Hah, the aboriginal people are so good to adapt to modern urban life. this summer so far is good to get some photos.

fantastic pics again arctic loved the castle and all those colourful birds been ball lightening here today so had my head hidden under a cushion all afternoon the ball lightening i saw once very scarey hope your well i know im a whimp lol xxjen
Jenny, it was a violent week in UK, hope your life was not affected by those unrest activities. sorry to hear you were scared by ball lightening. believe you would get use to it, anything can happen in this world.

Those turkey like costumes look so funny to me! 🙂 Did you use panning technique while trying to shoot these wildlifes (for example, the merganser in Bow River)? I noticed the background has a very nice blur to it, which suggest subject in motion…
you have very cute sense, the dance actually was simulating turkeys dance. i did not use panning for the merganser shot as it was not that fast, but i used for other flying birds.
